Energy Week Black Sea
Energy Week Black Sea stands as the premier gathering for key stakeholders from Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Türkiye, and Georgia. Since its launch in 2020, the event has fostered a strong sense of community, bringing together leaders committed to advancing renewable energy across the region. In 2024, it achieved recognition as the largest renewable energy conference in Romania.
In 2025, Energy Week Black Sea will introduce a dynamic format featuring a Green Finance Day and an Energy Transition Conference. Discussions will spotlight the latest developments in PPAs, pricing trends, Guarantees of Origin (GOs), and AIB membership. For the first time, we will host Producer-Consumer Meetups, fostering direct partnerships between renewable energy producers and consumers, including corporate PPAs.
The agenda will also delve into key renewable energy support schemes, such as CfDs in Romania, YEKA projects in Türkiye, and capacity auctions in Moldova and Ukraine.
Attendees can expect comprehensive coverage of the regulatory landscape, policy updates, and regional collaboration. Technology-focused sessions will address onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, green hydrogen, biomethane, and energy storage. We will tackle the critical challenges hindering large-scale project development, such as permitting and regulatory delays, grid connection issues, land use disputes, infrastructure limitations, and financial hurdles.
Our carefully curated participant list brings together decision-makers from governments, regulators, utilities, TSOs/DSOs, and leading private sector players. Joining them will be a diverse pool of IPPs, global developers, financiers, private consumers, and cutting-edge technology providers – working together to shape the region’s green transition.
Energy Week Black Sea offers not just a world-class conference agenda but unparalleled networking opportunities. With a consultant-led B2B zone and structured business meetings running alongside the sessions, participants can forge meaningful partnerships that drive results.
