Meeting with embassies

and international organizations

The Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association - GREDA held a conference on the 13th of May.

 

In attendance were embassies, Financial institutions, and business associations representatives. The main topic was Georgia energy independence and also dangers and challenges in the energy sector.

 

GREDA plans to establish an international board; its purpose will be to monitor and discuss the Energy field, the most crucial part of Georgian economic fields.

The meeting attended U.S.A.I.D., the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia, the American Chamber of Commerce, and representatives of Austrian, Polish, Japanese, and Turkish embassies.

 

Discussed topics were the importance of the field for Georgia's economic development, suspended investments, and existing challenges that severely damage the energy sector.
