Georgian Energy Exhibition and Forum 2025
On November 6–7, ExpoGeorgia hosted the Georgian Energy Exhibition and Forum — GEEF 2025.
The Energy Forum was officially opened by the Head of the Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy Policy and Sustainable Development Department of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Margalita Arabidze, who emphasized that the priority of the country’s energy policy is to support the development of green energy resources, which will strengthen Georgia’s energy security.
During the forum, participants discussed issues such as renewable energy regulations, green financing and investment opportunities, the growing role of solar power, the strategic importance of hydro and wind energy, as well as new directions including green hydrogen and biodiesel. Representatives of government agencies, energy companies, sectoral associations and international partners actively joined the discussions, sharing their insights on technological progress, sector challenges and development perspectives based on real experience.
GEEF 2025 once again demonstrated the dynamic development of Georgia’s energy sector and strengthened dialogue between the government, businesses and financial institutions. The forum became a platform where new initiatives were formed, joint action approaches were developed and the importance of the private sector, innovation and green energy transition for the country’s future energy system was emphasized.
