
GREDA members meet up
On May 29, 2025, the Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association (GREDA) held its regular members’ meeting. The event aimed to review ongoing processes in the sector, share updates, and strengthen the platform for collaboration.
Invited guests delivered key presentations:

Elene Ghubianuri, Head of the National Environmental Agency, spoke about the planned amendments to the Environmental Assessment Code;

Representatives of OMNIA highlighted sustainable energy development in Georgia and shared international experience;

Mariam Chakhvashvili, Head of the Energy Sector at Galt & Taggart, presented analysis on electricity generation and future expectations.
GREDA continues to strengthen its platform, enabling members to stay informed about the latest trends and regulatory changes, learn from international best practices, and shape a shared vision for the sector’s sustainable development.
The event was supported by the Georgian International Energy Corporation (GIEC), which owns solar and hydropower plants both in Georgia and abroad.
