Conference on Obtaining Financing for Renewable Power Plant Projects from International Financial Institutions

We’re excited to share that GREDA with the support of our partner TBC Bank has held a Conference on Obtaining Financing for Renewable Power Plant Projects from International Financial Institutions that was the first of its kind in the country.

The event was opened by Mr. Levan Davitashvili, the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, and the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mr. Romeo Mikautadze.

We’ve hosted over 100 guests, representing the private and public sectors, as well as international and local financial institutions. International Financial Institutions such as IFC - International Finance Corporation, EBRD, Asian Development Bank (ADB), FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, and European Investment Bank (EIB) took active participation in creating engaging and diverse agenda of the event.

The event aimed to increase awareness of the specifics of cooperation with International Financial Institutions among the developers and investors of renewable energy projects in Georgia.
