Georgian Renewable Energy Development (GREDA) and Nugzar Eristavi Energy Training Centre under the GNERC have concluded a Memorandum of cooperation. A Memorandum was signed by GREDA Supervisory Board Chairman Giorgi Abramishvili and the director of the Energy Training Centre Nugzar Beridze.
The memorandum aims to implement research and other types of projects related to renewable energy, to raise public awareness of the use of renewable energy. Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties will jointly organize educational courses and projects, joint events, round tables, conferences, and various activities.
"The signing of the memorandum with the Energy Training Center is the beginning of a very important strategic cooperation for us. In 2022, our association launched a number of awareness initiatives in the field of raising and professional education. We know for sure that it is one of the biggest challenges is the low level of awareness among the population, and we also agree that the current staff shortage will worsen tomorrow. The initiatives and projects that GREDA started in 2022 and will continue more actively in 2023 respond to exactly these challenges,"- said GREDA Executive Director Giorgi Abramishvili.
